Summer should be simple

Regardless of your age, summer should be a simple time. No week-long meetings, piles of paperwork, or office intrigue. As an adult, a summertime mindset is a hard thing to achieve. The work world doesn’t let us daydream about fishing at the lake with our kids or relaxing with friends on a beach. No, we get stuck with incomplete implementations that are victim to scope creep, expired deadlines, and thick bureaucracy.

But it doesn’t have to be that way. Think back to summer camp and how everything, even that first blistering sunburn, was made better by having a good friend at your side. Suddenly, you didn’t hate going to camp because you knew that there was a friend waiting for you. Implementation partners are the same way. Why dread each project when you could look forward to working with people that you know, trust, and enjoy?

When you are ready to simplify your summer, remember – we’re not just partners, we’re friends.
